CUI Professor Arwen Pearson will be giving the Lonsdale Lecture at the British Crystallographic Association (BCA) Spring Meeting.
The British Crystallographic Association, formed in 1982 is the UK national association for this science with over 700 members.
The Lonsdale Lecture is awarded to Prof. Pearson by the BCA on the recommendation of the Young Crystallographers Group, an interdisciplinary group within the Association which encourages strong interaction and exchange of ideas. Crystallography is a vital part of much modern research into the structure and properties of materials ranging across the scientific fields of Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Materials science and Engineering.
The BCA spring meeting will take place from 4-7 April 2016 at the University of Nottingham.
