In honor of his research about small quantum systems, Physics Professor Dr. Henning Moritz receives a Starting Grant to the amount of 1.2 Millionen Euro of the European Research Council (ERC). ERC Starting Grants aim to support up-and-coming research leaders.
Since 2010, Henning Moritz is a professor at Universität Hamburg. Before that he studied at the Universities of Heidelberg and Cambridge and did his doctoral and postdoctoral research at the ETH in Zurich.
