Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) on Campus Bahrenfeld

„How does this work?“ A new Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) knowledge series goes to the bottom of this question. Each Wednesday at 6.15 pm the audience may look behind the scenes. On 15 June the focus is on Universität Hamburg and CUI.

Within half an hour the show with the title “How does this work? – Learn, teach and research” presents different exciting areas of Universität Hamburg and introduces members of staff. Among others CUI Postdoc Philipp Wessels explains vividly his research area and the work in a laser laboratory in The Center for Optical Quantum Technologies (ZOQ).

The 30 minutes films of the new series are produced by the four NDR broadcast stations.  For example, they showed how an Airbus is built or how trains in the ICE operating center in Hamburg are cleaned and repaired within one hour.
