Prof. Dr. Anna Krylov, Professor of Chemistry and Gabilan Distinguished Professor of Science and Engineering at the University of Southern California will receive the Mildred Dresselhaus Award 2017. The price will be presented in a festive ceremony during CUI’s New Year’s Reception.

Anna Krylov will be honored for her outstanding contributions to electronic-structure theory, particularly for the development and application of powerful coupled-cluster-based methods. The price includes research stays in Hamburg, where Anna Krylov will cooperate with Robin Santra from the Center for Free-Electron Laser Science, in particular, and further groups.The New Year’s Reception starts on Thursday, 18 January 2018, at 6 p.m. in the CFEL foyer, Luruper Chaussee 149. Unfortunately, Anna Krylov cannot come to Hamburg; she will participate in the reception via Skype, however.
