Together with the Equal Opportunity Unit, the CUI Office has received one of five prizes in the competition “Nachhaltig ist…” initiated by the Center for a Sustainable University. Dr. Martin Hecht, Head of Administration of Universität Hamburg, presented the prizes within a ceremony at the university administration in Mittelweg.

“Nachhaltig ist … ein starkes Team bilden” (Sustainability is … building a strong team) was the slogan, the CUI office and the Equal Opportunity Unit handed it to the competition’s social category. Altogether, the Center for a Sustainable University received 32 proposals to the following topics:
- Preserving ressources (ecological aspects)
- Being respectful / diversity (social aspects)
- Health (individual aspects)
The five winning proposals will be designed as postcards by the Center.
Together with the Equal Opportunity Unit, the CUI team is very pleased about the prize – a mutual workshop led by Kerstin Jaspers, art & weise Coaching.
