Call for Agathe-Lasch-Coaching plus divers

For the first time, CUI is participating in the Agathe Lasch Coaching and under certain circumstances also male scientists may apply. The call is now open: applications for “Agathe-Lasch-Coaching plus divers” are possible until 31 January 2018.

The program consists of individual coaching sessions which focus on individual needs and issues, such as questions of leadership, barriers and stereotypes in the workplace, and questions relating to career planning and work-life balance. The program is organized by Universität Hamburg, members of CUI, however, enjoy privileged access.

“Promoting equal opportunities and diversity for all our scientists at CUI, we are happy that the program is now open to all genders and that we can implement a new offer covering diversity, work-life balance, and internationalization,” CUI’s equal opportunity officer Marie Lutz says.

“Agathe Lasch Coaching plus divers” addresses female scientists who are on postdoctoral level or currently working on a Habilitation (including Junior Professors); in addition, it addresses male scientists on the same level who

  • have family obligations, including childcare or the caring/nursing of relatives OR
  • have a chronical physical or psychological impairment or illness, or a disability OR
  • come from abroad and wish to reflect upon experience within the academic system in Germany.
