The Czech Academy of Sciences honors Prof. Dr. Alexander Lichtenstein (I.Institute of Theoretical Physics) with the Ernst Mach-Medal of Honor 2015.
The Czech Academy of Sciences has been awarding the Ernst Mach-Medal of Honor since 1996 for outstanding achievements in physics. The medal is named after the Austrian physicist, philosopher and theoretical scientist Ernst Mach (1838-1916).
