International Symposium 2016

CUI’s fourth International Symposium took place on Thursday, 10 November 2016, in the Center for Free Electron Laser Science. In honor of the winner of this year’s Hamburg Prize for Theoretical Physics the symposium covered modern trends in condensed matter physics. The prize is worth 40.000 Euro and was presented by the Joachim Herz Stiftung together with CUI to Russian physicist Mikhail Katsnelson.
